In a competitive retail environment, small footprints must make a big impact. Mall kiosks pose unique design challenges—from strict tenancy envelope agreements and the need for durable materials to 360-degree customer exposure and zero tolerance for wasted space. Mobile Planet approached us seeking a bold, brand-forward concept for their seventh outlet. We dubbed it MP07, drawing inspiration from retro space exploration capsules landing in the retail landscape. The kiosk is composed of individual modules, each serving a distinct function—from product display and customer service to on-site repairs. A central island anchors the layout, featuring a dedicated workshop bench and integrated storage. Around it, illuminated perimeter showcases wrap the space, highlighting products with clarity and style. The standout feature is a circular signage disk, suspended above the kiosk and encircled by glowing orbital rings—creating a striking and memorable brand beacon. Informative, punchy graphics complement the displays, clearly communicating Mobile Planet’s services and benefits.
