On an awkwardly shaped site bounded by a motorway and a stream, the Jerry Green Industrial Development delivers nearly 19,000m² of premium warehouse and office space at the northern edge of the Wiri industrial area. WMZA provided full architectural services for two speculative buildings, each designed with the flexibility to support varied operations for future tenants.
A key planning move was the inclusion of a large breezeway between the warehouses and large extents of canopies - enabling all-weather truck loading and dispatch operations. The contemporary office façades are aluminium clad and flush glazed - accented by sunshade louvres for a sharp, modern aesthetic.
Incorporating certified sustainable materials, EV charging infrastructure, operational waste minimisation initiatives, daylight/ light pollution controls and energy efficient artificial lighting, the project is targeting a 5 Green Star rating.
The Jerry Green project reflects WMZA’s commitment to delivering future-proof industrial spaces with architectural clarity, operational efficiency, and sustainability at their core.
