This purpose-built, low-income housing development was designed to exceed the expectations of those who traditionally live in state housing.
The brief was to provide a quality living environment. The final design comprises 50 two-bedroom dwellings in four blocks, plus a common room and a caretaker’s unit.
Views from the apartments were maintained and the ground floor units all have private garden areas. Exterior walls were coupled with cedar shutters and tiled decks, to add a touch of sophistication.
