The design brief for this 140 sqm site in Newmarket was to create a European-style daytime café that could transform into a relaxed restaurant for evening patronage. The WMZ Interiors solution incorporates an array of spatial dining experiences within the old sawtooth shed site. A raised podium breaks up the floor area while built-in bench seating allows customers to escape into the furnished recesses. A huge Shugg window in the shop front connects the dining space with the streetscape, underpinning the European ambience.
