A former rear lot warehouse was refurbished and extended to accommodate this childcare facility with adjacent parking and outdoor play areas. Its industrial surroundings necessitated careful acoustic and fire safety design that did not preclude its intended use as an ECE centre for 98 children. The old building was reclad in parts and the original double height warehouse space partially utilised to house staff facilities on a mezzanine level.
