WMZA was engaged by Tesco Property Ltd to provide a full interior design and signage package for this retail mall development in Guangzhou, China. The 65,000-sqm family entertainment precinct comprises a hypermarket, major tenancies, speciality shops, plus an entertainment and restaurant level. A combination of strong retail planning and unique design elements contribute to a memorable customer experience. The iconic local banyan tree, which symbolises family, home, community and communication, has been used as a motif in the entry areas of the ground floor. This provides focal points central to the design and gives the mall its unique local character.
