Located in Newmarket’s upmarket Nuffield Street, the Birkenstock store was designed with sandals in mind. The product references a healthy natural experience, and the interior design reflects this ethos.
Display plinths are a cleverly utilised part of the furniture, evoking a Roman amphitheatre. Tiered steps provide seating as well as display plinths, offering customers an interactive experience within the spatial environment.
Natural finishes were selected including cork flooring and sustainable veneers. The steps are clad in linoleum; which is a sustainable linseed oil-based flooring product.
