The Fountain Lane South Courtyard and Arcade formed an underutilised section of the Botany Town Centre shopping Centre in Botany. Part of the mall was open to the weather, which limited its appeal to shoppers and thus its commercial potential.
The WMZA solution was to roof the courtyard, install a skylight to provide a high level of natural light, extend the tenancies, upgrade the amenities and resurface the mall with high quality stone. The vision was to provide a high-end fashion offer inserted into a chic environment.
Since opening, the Fountain Lane North fashion precinct has outperformed expectations.
